You Pay a Small Deposit Secures Booking
When you confirm a booking, you pay 20–30% of the estimated cost as a deposit. This isn't the full job price — it's just enough to lock in your artisan and reserve their time slot, so they don't get double-booked and you don't get left waiting.

Artisan Arrives, You Pay the Balance Before Work Starts
The artisan comes to inspect the job in person and confirms the final price with you. Once you both agree, you pay the remaining balance in full — but here's the key part: work does not begin until this is done. No mid-job surprises, no "oh it's actually more expensive now."

We Hold Your Money Until You're Happy The Safety Net
Here's the part that protects you most: Frankdom Connect holds your full payment — it does NOT go to the artisan yet. The artisan only gets paid after you confirm the job is done to your satisfaction. If something's wrong, you tell us before any money moves.

The artisan cannot access your money until you say the job is done right. That's the whole point of this process — your satisfaction, not just your payment, is what unlocks the transaction.
Common Questions
What if I'm not happy with the job?
Tell us within 24 hours. We'll send a replacement artisan to fix it for free, or refund you — the artisan doesn't get paid until this is sorted out.
What if I cancel before the artisan arrives?
Cancel more than 2 hours before arrival and you get a full deposit refund. Less than 2 hours, the deposit isn't refundable — this covers the artisan's reserved time.
Can I just pay the artisan directly in cash?
We strongly advise against it. Cash payments outside our platform aren't protected by this process — if something goes wrong, we can't help resolve it.
Who actually holds my money — Frankdom Connect or a bank?
Payments are processed through Paystack, a licensed and regulated Nigerian payment provider. Frankdom Connect holds the funds in a dedicated account until the job is confirmed complete.
